BOMBSHELL: CIA WHISTLEBLOWER LEAKS 47 HARD DRIVES EXPOSING OBAMA ADMINISTRATION SPYING

The same day House Intelligence Committee chairman Devin Nunes gave a press conference stating that Trump and his transition team were under “incidental surveillance,” Attorney and founder of Judicial Watch, Larry Klayman, sent a formal letter to the House Committee on Intelligence demanding they investigate the claims and evidence more than 40 hard drives over 600 million pages of information presented under oath at the FBI Field Office In Washington, DC by his client – CIA/NSA Whistleblower Dennis Montgomery.

Klayman claimed in a Newsmax report that Montgomery, “holds the keys to disproving the false claims that there is no evidence that the president and his men were wiretapped,” however Montgomery’s case was largely ignored.

“When Montgomery came forward as a whistleblower to congressional intelligence committees and various other congressmen and senators, including Senator Charles Grassley, Chairman of the Senate Judiciary Committee, who, like Comey, once had a reputation for integrity, he was “blown off;” no one wanted to even hear what he had to say,” the letter said.

This resulted in Montgomery contacting Attorney Klayman, who then approached the FBI:

“Under grants of immunity, which I obtained through Assistant U.S. Attorney Deborah Curtis, Montgomery produced the hard drives and later was interviewed under oath in a secure room at the FBI Field Office in the District of Columbia. There he laid out how persons like then-businessman Donald Trump were illegally spied upon by Clapper, Brennan, and the spy agencies of the Obama administration.

Montgomery left the NSA and CIA with 47 hard drives and over 600 million pages of information much of which is classified. He sought to come forward legally as a whistleblower to appropriate government entities, including congressional intelligence committees, to expose that the spy agencies were engaged for years in systematic illegal surveillance on prominent Americans, including the chief justice of the Supreme Court, other justices, 156 judges, prominent businessmen such as Donald Trump, and even yours truly. Working side by side with Obama’s former Director of National Intelligence (DIA), James Clapper, and Obama’s former Director of the CIA, John Brennan, Montgomery witnessed “up close and personal” this “Orwellian Big Brother” intrusion on privacy, likely for potential coercion, blackmail or other nefarious purposes.

He even claimed that these spy agencies had manipulated voting in Florida during the 2008 presidential election, which illegal tampering resulted in helping Obama to win the White House.”

Allegations made by Montgomery claim that there was a, “systematic illegal surveillance on prominent Americans, including the chief justice of the Supreme Court, other justices, 156 judges, prominent businessmen such as Donald Trump.”

President Trump takes Twitter seriously. After all, he can boast of having almost 60 million Twitter followers, and he has tweeted more than 41,000 times. Still, it was interesting to see, on the morning of April 23, that he tweeted out some considerable thoughts on the social-media platform:

The best thing ever to happen to Twitter is Donald Trump.” @MariaBartiromo So true, but they don’t treat me well as a Republican. Very discriminatory, hard for people to sign on. Constantly taking people off list. Big complaints from many people. Different names-over 100 M . . . But should be much higher than that if Twitter wasn’t playing their political games. No wonder Congress wants to get involved – and they should. Must be more, and fairer, companies to get out the WORD!

If we unpack these comments a bit, we can see that Trump thinks a) Twitter is biased against both him and Republicans; b) Congress needs to take a look, perhaps with an eye toward some sort of regulation; and c) new companies ought to get into the social-media space. In other words, some real news, on possible digital policy initiatives.

Then, on the afternoon of April 23, we learned that Trump and Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey actually met in the Oval Office. Needless to say, the president tweeted about the session:

GOP Senator Calls For Hearing on Venezuela Before Any Possible Military Intervention

Republican Senator Todd Young has called for a Senate hearing with Trump administration officials to discuss Venezuela before any possible military intervention can occur.

Hawks and neocons, most vocally National Security Advisor John Bolton, have been pushing for a full scale intervention in the nation, despite President Donald Trump’s campaign promises of not engaging in more regime change wars.

“The brutal Maduro Regime has caused unspeakable suffering amongst the citizens in Venezuela and I commend the brave Venezuelans who are standing up for their freedom and for their basic human rights,” he said. “However, I am concerned by reports of possible U.S. military intervention in Venezuela.”

“I am calling on the Chairman and Ranking Member of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee to hold immediate hearings with key members of the administration next week to discuss their plans for Venezuela and to explain any plans to deploy U.S. forces to the country,” he added, according to a report from The Hill.

Representative Matt Gaetz has also been urging restraint.

“I’m not the only Republican urging restraint when it comes to uniformed U.S. military on the ground in Venezuela and I believe the president to be aware that there are some conservatives who hold that view,” Rep. Gaetz said in an interview with the Miami Herald.

“How, exactly, is any of this good for the United States?” Carlson asked on his show. “Our sanctions in Venezuela have already spiked our gas prices. Are we prepared to absorb millions of new Venezuelan migrants? All of them great people, no question. But many would have little education or skills or would not speak English.”

California Ready to Ban Trump from 2020 Election

In a broadside against President Donald Trump and the United States Constitution, Democrats in California’s Senate have passed new qualifications on who may run for president in that state. Designed to force Donald Trump to publicly disclose his tax returns, the law prohibits the secretary of state from printing a candidate’s name on the ballot unless that candidate produces a copy of every income tax return they filed with the IRS in the five most recent taxable years. Bill 27 passed through the state Senate in a straight party line vote of 27-10, and has been submitted to the House for consideration.

Is It Constitutional?

The U.S. Constitution’s Article II establishes qualifications on who may be elected president and describes the mechanics of how the president shall be chosen via the electoral college. California’s senatorial foray into frustrating Donald Trump’s political career does not include an attempt to unilaterally amend or supplant the Constitution. How can they introduce new qualifications for president, then?

Authors of the legislation use a fig leaf to cover their immodesty. The new law forbids the California secretary of state from printing a candidate’s name on the ballot if the required tax returns have not been supplied. The candidate may still run though, and people may still vote for them – by write-in ballot – in a laughable sop to sticklers for the right to vote and run for office, consistent with the Constitution.

Is this rule constitutional? Aside from any jurist on the Ninth Circus, the answer is no. Don’t take my word for it though; the California Office of Legislative Counsel itself stated that the legislation violates the constitution. Keep in mind, this is the non-partisan law firm created by the legislature to serve it by providing bill drafting services, preparing legal opinions, and other confidential legal services to the Legislature. No matter – when dealing with such an existential threat like Trump, you must break a few eggs.

Huh? Biological Man Identifies as a Woman But Plays a Man as the First Transgender Lead in U.S. Opera

Lucia Lucas is the first transgender person to play a lead role in a U.S. opera, performing the title role in Don Giovanni at the Tulsa Opera on May 3 and May 5. Although Lucas identifies as a woman, he plays a man, singing the baritone role of Don Giovanni. This casting reveals the truth that transgender identity cannot hide: Lucas is male, not female.

"Making history, Tulsa Opera presents baritone, Lucia Lucas in her American operatic debut as a transgender woman. Lucia Lucas’ appearance here will mark the first time a trans woman has performed a principal role on the operatic stage in the United States," announced Tobias Picker, artistic director at the Tulsa Opera.

Picker auditioned Lucas for the role in 2018, planning the situation as a "transgender opera," Classic FM reported. He reportedly discovered his clips on YouTube and decided to offer him the role on the spot.

"It's a great dramatic baritone voice," he said. "It has depth of emotion and it has enormous power."

Lucas has performed in opera houses around the world, including Deutsche Oper Berlin, Heidelberg, and Dublin. He sings baritone despite his gender identity.

"Once the voice drops, it can’t go back, although I have trained my speaking voice to be higher than it used to be," Lucas told the Irish Independent in 2017. "I don't have a problem playing men on stage, because I manage to keep my career and private life separate. I’m always travelling, so I get to go to new places where I can be an advocate and talk to people."

This case is illustrative — not just because it is a transgender "first." Lucas identifies as a woman, but he still has the male biology that led him through puberty and gave him a deep voice. This is a clear case of biology — from his X and Y chromosomes in every cell of his body to the hormones that led him to develop masculine features — winning out over transgender identity.

Ironically, Lucas identifies as a woman but he is playing a man's man. Don Giovanni is a notorious womanizer. This baritone, who adopts stereotypically feminine mannerisms and traits to satisfy a transgender identity, will switch to stereotypically masculine traits on stage.

Lucas can pretend he has a clear separation between "playing male characters" and his female gender identity, but the very fact that he has a powerful baritone voice betrays the truth.

As a baritone singer myself, I'd like to congratulate him. Singing Don Giovanni is a wonderful opportunity. Then again, did this baritone get the role for his singing voice or for his gender identity?

Operation Claws Of Death: Iraqi Intelligence Foils Major ISIS Terrorist Plan

Iraq’s counterterrorism intelligence unit, the Falcon Intelligence Cell, has foiled a major ISIS plan to re-establish a network of terrorist cells across the country in a special operation, dubbed “Operation Claws of Death.”

A source in the Iraqi intelligence told the al-Sabah newspaper that the operation, that lasted several months, was a part of a secret program to prevent ISIS terrorists from moving back from Syria to Iraq.

“The operation, dubbed Claws of Death, was carried out by the tactical and technical teams of the cell in the framework of a plan to address the ISIS terrorist elements, who entered the country in different ways to reorganize their ranks and carry out terrorist operations to destabilize security in the province of Nineveh,” the source said.

In the course of the operation, Iraqi intelligence agents managed to kill Wahid Amina, a prominent security commander of ISIS in the western region of al-Jazeera. The terrorist is reportedly responsible for several war crimes in the cities of Mosul and Tell Afar.

Amina was ambushed north of Tell Afar while he was moving with his notorious bodyguard, Abdul Ghafoor Abdullah, who below himself up after failing to save his commander.

“The details of the operation will be revealed later. We will also reveal the testimonies of detained ISIS terrorists and how terrorist elements and Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi escaped from areas in Syria during the cell’s secret operation,” the Iraqi intelligence source told al-Sabah.

During the last two years, the Falcon Intelligence Cell intensified its operations against ISIS cells in Iraq and Syria. The cell managed to capture several prominent commanders of the terrorist group recently, including Saddam al-Jamal and Taha Znad Mashhadani.

ISIS Terrorists Attack Key LNA Base In Southern Libya, Capture Loads Of Weapons (Photos)

Dozens of ISIS fighters attacked the main headquarters of the Libyan National Army (LNA) in the southern Libyan city of Sabha in the early hours of May 4.

The terrorist group’s news agency, Amaq, claimed that 16 personnel of the LNA were killed and injured in the hit and run attack. The agency also released photos showing loads of weapons, including two vehicles and a T-55 battle tank, which had been captured by ISIS fighters.

“All the captives who were being held inside the camp were released, the Mujahedeen also burned a number of tanks and depots after seizing what they could of weapons and vehicles,” a press release by Amaq reads.

In an official statement, the LNA said that the attack was carried out by ISIS and Chadian mercenaries. The army also acknowledged that 8 of its soldiers were killed during the clashes in the headquarters.

Meanwhile, a source in the LNA told Sputnik that the army reinforced its positions in Sabha after the attack. Additional units of the LNA’s joint operations room and security forces were reportedly deployed in the southern city in order to prevent any similar attacks in the future.

ISIS resumed its attacks in southern Libya after the beginning of the LNA’s advance towards the Libyan capital, Tripoli, on April 4. The terrorist group has launched six attacks on the army since then, which raises serious questions about its real motives.
