It was me that ghosted after baking #8196, just a bit before midnight. Graveyard usually has tons of news, but it's hard to stick around to bake those long shifts (and they're long now, about 5 hours instead of 3.5-4). The Notes list was really short last night for NB, prolly because baker arrived late in bread, hard to catch up unless an anon has already kept notes. Don't blame anons, either, people in USA are tired, when I was a digger, I'd show up on graveyard after digging for hours. Just wanted to relax a little and chat.

NS not focused on food porn. Food porn & captchas.

Night shift anons want to dig, hope Q will drop something. Possible wo/drops, but harder to really get something off the ground. Feel like we're kinda in a holding pattern for a bit…….

Brexit: Merkel and Macron STRUGGLING without UK says expert

Germany’s biggest opposition party, the Alternative for Deutschland, has turned its ire onto the European elite, calling for the EU election to be a referendum on how Brussels is run. The party’s parliamentary chief Alexander Gauland told supporters that Europeans could teach Brussels humility during the elections at the end of May. This comes amid a growing alliance between far-right eurosceptic parties, led largely by Italy’s Matteo Salvini, ahead of the crucial ballot that could determine the future of the EU……..[see CAP]….

The European Commission president Jean-Claude Juncker claimed that the European Union has lost its “libido”. [KEK!!]

Mr Juncker acknowledged the expected gains for populist and Eurosceptic parties in Europe-wide elections in three weeks.

He conceded that the growth of Eurosceptic parties was an ominous sign for the continent.

His remarks come days before a leaders’ summit on the future of the bloc in the Romanian city of Sibiu.
