Zodiac and Unabomber connection
I've never believed Ted was the Zodiac. There have been people who tried to connect the 2. However I do believe that the Zodiac knew Ted, but Ted did not know this person was the Zodiac. Here is why:
Zodiac Killer — heavily into cryptography. whether he had actual training or was self taught is still debated.
Ted—encrypted his own diaries. I dont think they have been broken.
Zodiac—The lake Berryessa Attack. 1 killed, 1 survivor. the young man survived by miracle. to get them to comply with his commands at gunpoint, he told them he only wanted to rob them of money and car. He said, "I'm an escaped convict from Deer Lodge Montana. I am fleeing to Mexico." Why so specific? it wasnt true. Why say this when he planned to murder both? He didnt leave the survivor to tell this story, the survivor beat all the odds.
