If Green New Deal were put into play, its actual effects on global climate would be “indistinguishable from zero”

Does the Democrat Party truly care about the environment or is their Green New Deal proposal just another power trip, an economic takeover of American industry that would only benefit central planners and their investors?

A new study from the American Enterprise Institute finds that the Green New Deal (GND) would barely impact the unpredictable nature of climate, temperature, and weather around the world. The goal of the GND is to bring U.S. carbon emissions to a “net zero” by 2050; however, once the individual goals of the plan are dissected, the GND would do practically nothing to stabilize global temperature, even after spending tens of trillions of dollars on green energy over several decades.

If the global temperature could accurately be measured, then all these “green energy” changes to American infrastructure could theoretically cut the global temperature rise by .083 to .173 degrees. Because of these putrid projections, the authors of the study say the GND “is not to be taken seriously” and that its actual effects on global climate would be “indistinguishable from zero.

China making 'rapid progress' on potency of cyber-operations, Pentagon says

China’s cyber-theft and cyber-espionage operations are accelerating to the point that they can “degrade core U.S. operational and technological advantages,” according to a congressionally mandated assessment of the Chinese military the Pentagon issued Friday.

Last year, for example, Chinese intelligence officers were indicted for allegedly conspiring to steal technological information on turbofan engines. China’s efforts to steal sensitive U.S. military-grade equipment more broadly targeted aviation and antisubmarine warfare technologies last year.

“The threat and the challenge is persistent. The Chinese remain very aggressive in their use of cyber,” Assistant Secretary of Defense Randall G. Schriver said Friday during a press briefing on the report.

Hackers Found Exploiting Oracle WebLogic RCE Flaw to Spread Ransomware

Taking advantage of newly disclosed and even patched vulnerabilities has become common among cybercriminals, which makes it one of the primary attack vectors for everyday-threats, like crypto-mining, phishing, and ransomware.

As suspected, a recently-disclosed critical vulnerability in the widely used Oracle WebLogic Server has now been spotted actively being exploited to distribute a never-before-seen ransomware variant, which researchers dubbed "Sodinokibi."

Last weekend, The Hacker News learned about a critical deserialization remote code execution vulnerability in Oracle WebLogic Server that could allow attackers to remotely run arbitrary commands on the affected servers just by sending a specially crafted HTTP request—without requiring any authorization.

To address this vulnerability (CVE-2019-2725), which affected all versions of the Oracle WebLogic software and was given a severity score of 9.8 out of 10, Oracle rolled out an out-of-band security update on April 26, just a day after the vulnerability was made public and several in-the-wild attacks were observed.

NSA unmasked more U.S. entities caught in foreign cyber-espionage efforts last year

The National Security Agency named the identities of Americans and U.S entities swept up in its foreign surveillance program approximately 75 percent more often last year than the year before, according to a new NSA transparency report.

In reports to other federal agencies, the NSA provided the identities of 16,721 individuals or entities to agencies upon request last year, whereas in 2017 it unmasked 9,529.

The year-over-year uptick comes as part of an effort to identify the victims of cyberattacks stemming from foreign intelligence agencies, said Alex Joel, chief of the Office of the Director of National Intelligence’s civil liberties, privacy, and transparency office, according to The Wall Street Journal.

Fox News spreads more fake news measles hysteria by claiming MMR vaccines don’t contain aborted human fetal tissue… but they actually do

Doing its part to shill ridiculous fake news on behalf of the lying vaccine industry, Fox News recently published a shameless propaganda piece about the ongoing measles “outbreak,” which falsely claims that the MMR vaccine for measles, mumps, and rubella, manufactured by Merck & Co., doesn’t contain aborted human fetal tissue – even though it actually does.

Fox News correspondent Bryan Llenas opens up his pro-vaccine shill piece with all sorts of hysterics about how the current spread of measles is the “largest” ever, and that there’s “no end in sight.” He goes on to claim that “anti-vaccination propaganda” is driving this outbreak, citing statements made by the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s (CDC) Dr. Nancy Messonnier, the current Director of the National Center for Immunization and Respiratory Diseases.

According to Dr. Messonnier, the CDC’s “biggest challenge” at the moment – meaning the biggest roadblock to the CDC’s relentless effort to vaccinate all Americans, including Americans who don’t want to be vaccinated – is “misinformation and myths about the vaccine.” She’s referring, of course, to the controversial MMR vaccine which, despite her parroted claims that it’s “safe and effective,” is actually neither.

As we reported, Merck was exposed for faking the “safety and efficacy” data that CDC hacks like Dr. Messonnier routinely present as “evidence” in support of mass vaccination with the MMR vaccine – as if this deadly jab provides absolute and total protection against measles with zero side effects, which is 100 percent false.

Orban, Salvini want anti-immigration cooperation after European polls

Hungary’s national conservative Prime Minister, Viktor Orban, and the head of Italy’s extreme right, Interior Minister Matteo Salvini, announced on Thursday in Budapest that they want to come together against immigration after May’s European elections.

“We are clearly seeking cooperation with Mr. Salvini in a form that will need to be defined,” the Hungarian prime minister said at a joint press conference. I’m convinced Europe needs an alliance of anti-immigration parties.”

Orban and Salvini come from two different political families and two different groups in the European Parliament, but stressed that they have a common line on immigration.

They went together on Thursday to the border with Serbia, where they inspected the anti-migrant fence erected in 2015 at the initiative of the Hungarian Prime Minister, climbed up into a watchtower and flew over the fence in a helicopter.

Orban who is still a member of the right-wing European Popular Party (EPP), from which he has been suspended since March for making Europhobic statements, said he wished to see the EPP, to which Germany’s CDU also belongs, “cooperate with the anti-immigration parties.” Otherwise, “it will be difficult for us to find our place” within that party after 26 May, he added.

“Don’t be evil” Google engages in “systematic” retaliation against anyone who dares criticize the company

At a gathering last week, hundreds of Google staff members met to discuss something they claim is happening more frequently than ever: Company retaliation for criticism.

As Bloomberg reported Friday:

Two leaders of recent company protests said they’ve been mistreated by managers and collected similar stories from other workers at the world’s largest internet company. The claims of retaliation are the latest in a series of internal upheavals over issues ranging from the use of artificial intelligence for military purposes to executive misconduct and the rights of contract workers.

Google, a subsidiary of Alphabet Inc., once set an industry standard in Silicon Valley for being able to employ and then keep highly-skilled computer scientists. But in recent years, the company has suffered blemishes to its reputation — since it’s become a Left-wing censorship machine aimed at muting conservative staffers and voices online, and has adopted an increasingly dictatorial management style.

In internal surveys, for example, employees say they are losing faith in Google’s senior leadership, as scores of coders refused to work on a Pentagon project last year (think Trump hate) and some resigned in protest, Bloomberg reported.

Then, last November, a number of Google staffers staged a walkout because of payouts given to executives who faced allegations of sexual assault.
