I just watched this webcast to Trondheim yesterday, allegedly "from his exile in Russia".
Towards the end he discusses a topic he clearly states regards legal conditions in the US, and at a point around 1:05:00 he says "because we don't do that — here."
Snowdens grammar is impeccable, I think he tells us where he is.
He also says earlier in the session, kind of resentfully, that you go to jail if you do what he did; regardlessly.
I think he's back home and being taken good care of. Probably cooperating.
