I am more than a little concerned about the normalization and reducing of meaning of ‘WMD - weapon of mass destruction’ by the MSM and local/regional law enforcement.
Categorizing a blasting cap as a WMD is a pretty extreme stretch. They are pretty commonly possessed by likely far more rural farmers and etc than most would believe, much less realize.
Certainly if possession is accompanied by intent, there should be some legal action but it is still worrying.
And WMD conjures specific thoughts - as it should.
