This article made me think about a prospective tenant the other day. We require a minimum monthly gross income of 3x the rent. This young woman tells me she has Section 8 voucher for the whole rent(unusual because it is usually 70-80%). Furthermore, she tells me it is handed down from her mother. I asked " you mean kinda like an inheritance?" She laughed and said "yah, I guess". She claimed to be making what our minimum requirement was.
Why does she get free rent when others making the same have to pay their own??????
