Let's just diffuse this situation and let it go. I really think the culture in the main thread is overwhelming for some of us. It really does feel very combative. This thread has a different culture and I guess we've gotten used to a supportive and friendly nature around here. It works well for us.
The old man is really not wrong about the way people treat each other in the main thread, I'm sure many people are turned away from there for many reasons. I promise you if you shit the bread here, we will just let it go and move on. We are all now aware that posting before the baker is finished "baking" in a new thread is a "no, no". If we bother to post in the main thread again, I'm sure none of us will make that mistake again.
