Fix it like this: add two stars and put them in so it's odd but at least anyone who notices will be like 'ok, hey used an old mag cover, and they realized it and then fixed it' or put in "historical flag, 1917-1959' or whatever the years were for that flag in small text too light to read unless you loor really close.
