>432 reference for A would be horrible for instruments tuned to b.
Quite literally one of the stupidest comments I have ever read. You clearly do not know what you are talking about. You can tune any stringed instrument to 432 and it will sound a brighter and cleaner. It's only an 8 c.p.s. change ffs.
>432 sounds great on a synthesizer, though. Make anything sound good even if you're just banging the keys like a gorilla.
Second stupidest comment I have ever read. While 432 hz is far more pleasing to the ear, it will not make you sound great "banging keys like a gorilla". If you don't know your keys and scales, changing to 432 doesn't help a single bit. Because you still sound like an uneducated gorilla banging on the keys.
And yeah. I know what I am talking about. Have been a keyboard player and programmer for decades. I have been creating sounds on 3-D additive synths since they first came out. They can recreate almost any sound almost perfectly, from the sound of a violin, to the sound of a baseball bat/crack of a baseball.
The best tuning for keys is 432 Equal Temperament. But it only works if everyone playing is also tuned to 432 hz.
