Those weirdos grow up and they gotta work SOMEWHERE, so they study hard and get that sweet gubmint or media job. They hire other oddballs like themselves in solidarity. They never got picked for the team, they never went to prom, and they'd never stand a snowball's chance in hell in the private employment sector.
