Yep, everything needs rigging. Without good rigging on his sail ship Columbus would have never made it to San Salvador. Big machines need rigging.
Evil needs rigging. Take out their rigging and evil fails.
That is one. Just as on a 3 mast ocean sail ship there is a lot of rigging required. Maybe a 100's of rigging items.
Screw up a couple of those and the sail ship goes down in heave seas. First to fail is the top rigging. Mast stays as well. loss a foresail (jib) sheet your done.
Riggers can rig with out rigging.
