His next career move is unknown, but Whitaker has told friends that he will remain in Washington because there are "many opportunities here," sources said.

WASHINGTON โ€” Former acting Attorney General Matthew Whitaker left his position at the Justice Department on Saturday, a department spokeswoman said.

Whitaker had been serving as a senior counselor at the Justice Department since Attorney General William Barr was sworn in last month.

His next career move is unknown, but Whitaker has told friends that he will remain in Washington because there are "many opportunities here," according to sources who have spoken with him in recent days.

Whitaker previously served as former Attorney General Jeff Sessionโ€™s chief of staff. He was accused by some within the Justice Department of being more loyal to the White House than to Sessions as President Donald Trump grew frustrated with his attorney general.

Trump publicly criticized Sessions for recusing himself from the investigation into Russian meddling in the 2016 election, a move that allowed Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein to appoint special counsel Robert Mueller to lead the probe. Sessions was eventually forced to resign after the November midterms.

When Whitaker took over Sessionsโ€™ position last November, Democrats expressed concerns that he would hamper the Mueller probe. Whitaker, who had previously questioned the scope of the special counsel investigation, ultimately decided not to recuse himself from the probe.

Barr now holds oversight power in the Mueller probe and with that, has the job to decide what portions of the probe, which is reportedly in its final stages, to share with Congress.

Dirty Wars: The Brief Review

Dirty Wars, which was released in 2013, is one of the best documentary films that you cannot ignore at all. There are so many great things that you can find when you watch the film, which can be like the unpredictable facts relate to what really happened during the wars by the army of the United States of America. Aside of that, it will also offer you the notable visualization that was created based on the book of Dirty Wars: The World Is a Battlefield by Jeremy Scahill. Then, that is the main reason why the writer of the book was getting involved in the scenario making process along with David Riker.

Well, the film will tell you the story about Jeremy Scahill, who was a journalist, when he traveled Somalia, Yemen, and Afghanistan, and so many other countries where the United States did its War on Terror military action. Then, he actually found out so many interesting things that everybody does not know during his travel. It began when he investigated the United States government and military in Afghanistan. He really wanted to find out why the military and the government really wanted to cover up the death of five civilians including two pregnant women. All of them were killed by the United States soldier from Joint Special Operation Command (JSOC). So then, he continued interviewing JSOC and any other sides that might be involved, including the Senator of United States, Ron Wyden.

Furthermore, he even never stopped his adventure in Yemen when he investigated the assassinations of Anwar al-Awlaki and his son Abdulrahman al-Awlaki. He even met their family in order to get the truth he always wanted. Not only that, he also discussed about Abdulelah Haider Shaye who was a Yemeni journalist that reported the American Drone Strikes. However, the weird thing happened when the journalist was detained and sentenced on a terrorism charge after sharing the report he had made. Moreover, all of the things that he experienced during the travel to the conflicting countries somehow made him realize that it would only make the radicalization of Muslims. It means that the war would never really solve the terrorism related problems that the world had to face. Even, it could make everything worse and worse because wars would spread hates and misery only.
