Sen. Richard Blumenthal, D-Conn., said Donald Trump Jr. should be jailed if he does not comply with a subpoena to appear in front of the Senate Intelligence Committee, The Hill is reporting.

"The subpoena should be enforced," he said. "If he refuses to obey it, he should be locked up. There are no [executive] privileges for Donald Trump Jr. The son of the president doesn't have any of those privileges."

Blumenthal maintained Trump Jr.'s testimony to the Judiciary Committee in September 2017 appears to conflict with some findings in the report by special counsel Robert Mueller.
