Do not, however, give Tillis a pass. He has been anything BUT a Trump supporter, only giving his votes in support after the other votes were already locked in: IE … at no risk to himself. He supported Trumps Emergency Declaration only after the measure already had enough votes to pass. His public statements beforehand were in opposition.
