Can a person’s access to defense be revoked if the premise of that defense is corrupt?

In other words, James Comey tweets his former Lawyer’s most recent blogpost on “LAWFARE”, and so any person, they don’t even have to be logical, can see our enemies’ weapon of choice is the courts.

So back to my original question: if a us citizen has a history of perverting the law and abusing their position - which is in the courts - what right do they still have to a defense? Is there any consideration (I’m not a legal eagle - clearly) to prevent this from tumbling into an endless cycle of posturing in courts, or are we going to start seeing people behind bars.

I’m getting fucking sick and tired of this. I am a veteran. We are not going to just sit here and watch this go on.
