I thought the same thing too anon. Then I realized who I was talking about. You know, the guy connected to Clinton and Gillibrand? He's in on the scam.

It most likely wasn't him "musing" or "thinking" but actually literally telling people what was going on because he was upset he wasn't getting a big enough cut.
