One things for sure, if Q wanted it gone, it'd be gone. They seem to not have a problem with it though, so I couldn't say.
First it's something outside of the norm, therefore the burden of proof is on the ones adding it.
However, first off it adds to the barrier of entry and limits the ideas shared, this is just generically counter to our ideals of shared expression and censorship resistant.
Second, its definitely buggy, in a business sense we're expected to use a function that on some heavy traffic days has delayed posts for me for multiple breads. That's a problem.
Third it was added in a manner also inconsistent with our beliefs and for a reason it has failed to accomplish. We have to constantly be on guard for the establishment trying to regain control over our thought processes and our culture here.
I don't trust anyone or anything anymore. As per Q's orders, I question everything. The less restrictions the better. I haven't seen it decrease the shills. I haven't seen it inconvenience anyone but anons. The fact that there was no time or discussion given at all and we have yet to get a good explanation is worrying.

I don't filter anything. I don't want to run the risk of trimming out pertinent information. I accept information from all sources and base it's value on it's merit.
It's possible, but doesn't seem likely. When shit really hits the fan people are going to come regardless. Their entire world view will be shattered.

Historically right before the start of each bull market we bounce off lows, then have a 25-45% pull back which signifies the start of the major run. But with so much craziness happening with tether, bitfinex, and the rest it's just getting nutty lol

I don't think censorship is ever really warranted. People might be stupid but if you prove an idea wrong often enough it starts losing power.
Not really surprised to be honest, I know a ton of Eve guys that have woken up hard. Eve at least used to breed a mindset that made understanding the corruption easy. It did for me. I was instrumental in planning WWB, hosting people flying in around, and it was all ruined by a couple of back room deals in the end. We could have eliminated them, then move onto PL and the rest. We had plans for all of them, but too many big players cut deals for it to be sustainable. It's frustrating.
That's not at all what I'm suggesting. Getting feedback from the community on measures taken that add a barrier to entry and an extra complication does not equal being congress.

Yes, BO means board owner. However, this board is here for a very particular reason and that leashes most of us to it. Just because he decides something, does not make it right. And it does not remove the voice from the community.

In fact, I'd wager a guess that most of the people here support a smaller less intrusive government, much as we'd want a less intrusive BO. Not sure how long you've been here, but we've been through board after board before landing here and most often it was the leadership of either the platform or the board that was comp'd and causing the issues. So pardon me if I don't just accept something as is, and instead decide to speak against it. Seems a much more appropriate answer then just leaving if you don't get your way.
This was something added. I have no issues with the way it was prior, but when you add a barrier to entry that appears to be mostly ineffective and causes issues with some anons to the point of limiting their ability to transmit information, then people will have opinions and expect answers.
