>And Bible scholars like to split hairs.

Sometimes to the detriment of the actual message trying to be conveyed, I've noticed at times. I mean, the message isn't that fucking complicated…"God is Love" is fairly self-explanatory.

>Take into account idioms of those cultures at the times they were written.

I've been talking about Q with my grandma lately…very religious but not in an overbearing way whatsoever.

I mentioned to her that Ephesians 6:12 has been posted several times here, and that piqued her curiousity…then she handed me her NLT bible from the armrest of her chair, and I read her the verse.

What I'm trying to figure out is, though, what in the everloving fuck prompted Paul to use (modern) terms like "unseen world", "dark world", "evil spirits", and "heavenly places"? (I'm especially curious to know what the original Greek terms were.)

I suppose the simple explanation is that he became woke via his conversion from "Saul" to "Paul", but there's not a lot of specifics.

My gut tells me he was made aware of interdimensional beings that feed on fear and require blood sacrifice.

And this is why I avoid Sunday school. kek
