Would be nice if true transparency was the norm of everyday life but….

That'll never happen because different groups/races/etc..will never fully trust each other because secrecy has always been the norm and has created so many divisive areas of life that it'll likely never be overcome. Too damn ingrained with it, we are. Distrust has become or always was genetic. It's each other that's the problem and I'm not believing we'll ever get our shit together enough to get over this. Many can but that is a very small number compared to the whole.

We threaten ourselves so much that the amount of time and life wasted when the bigger threat and hope is out there and infiltrated amongst us that it's astounding. The only thing all this secrecy affects is us and our progression to a higher self. We are not keeping secrets from much more advanced races who likely know every little thing there is to know about our actions/ways/systems/weapons/etc… They have all the time in the universe. We likely don't before something cosmic/planetary/chaos theory makes us regret all that damn secrecy.

No matter what happens, the secrecy has already won the battle against this dumb idea of storming A51 "to know".

We have much bigger fish to fry than this with ourselves.
