Ya know…About four decades ago I read a book entitled The Spear of Destiny by Trevor Ravenscroft. It was about Hitler's obsession with the occult and possessing the spear which had been used to pierce Christ's side as he hung on the cross (the legend of which it is said whomever has the spear in his possession holds the destiny of the world for good or for evil). But it was about a whole lot more, including astral travel, reincarnation of souls/historical characters, the Holy Grail, and white and black magic, the Illuminati, etc. While definitely a heavy read and at that time, subject matter that was akin to the Twilight Zone, I found it overall to be plausible, even reading it as a teenager. Years later I gave that book to my adult son. He found it a compelling read, too. Then he gave the book to someone else and so on and so forth. Been thinking I really need to get myself another copy of that book and read it again as an old fag.

Had to duck duck BJ Blazkowicz. Wikipedia says fictional character of videos games. Kek, would make sense that someone would capitalize on the story of the spear – whether fiction, or non.
