Didn't realize this was so end-of-bread…..

Yes, it's me, baker-fren. When you're talking about a script, do you mean one that is designed to create the spam at the top after a complete pastebin is posted? Breaking up the pastebin doesn't stop the spam, Synagogue of Satan is alive and well in bread #8273.

Say, do you happen to know the answer to my q on >>6472917 pb? Sorry I don't know moar about bumplocked threads. Really want to save the work.

Well, that'll be something to look forward to, one of these bakes. At last ya didn't have to cold start the computer. (Jeopardy music plays while anons await the arrival of new bread…..)

Of course stuff is in notables that isn't nominated. Baker picks up stuff, too. If this were not true, the notable list would be very short, indeed.

Also, anons who ask for notables don't always check to see whether it's been posted or made notable before (or whether it's sauced).

This is one reason why anons are so often asked for feedback when notables are posted–so they can either add stuff or tell baker they don't think something should be included. Even when not asked, most anons are not shy about objecting to notables they really don't like–so much so that some would-be bakers hesitate to bake because it's easy to make a mistake and not fun to get blasted for it.

Yeah, the logic kinda escaped me here. Most anons have a strong independent streak; not really into group-think. So they will reasonably question stuff that doesn't make sense to them. Yes, we can adapt. But no reason not to ask questions, too. FREE SPEECH BOARD. That's why we're here.

Ordinary baker here, not a codefag. Haven't had captcha problems so far when posting. But sounds like it's possible.

Lemme get this straight: when you say "click report on bread that's stuck," where do I click if I can't get to at least the Notables page, where I can do a global report using my own ID?

Thanks very much. As long as the captcha problem you're discussing doesn't apply to regular baking, I'm good. Just want to stay current so breads don't get fucked up because of my ignorance.

How much repeats are same stories but with different media outlets? That definitely happens. Stories often have exactly the same titles, too, but different links. If link is different, baker won't know and could post a dup.

If bakers check QResear.ch, it will reveal exact dups. BUT if you change even one character or insert a space by mistake, the search will say "nothing found."

Regarding bread speed:

Don't want to dox myself by saying too much but every human activity has a natural pace to it. If pacing is too slow, activity drops off; if too fast, mistakes are made.

Pacing with captcha seems to make breads not just slow, but SLUGGISH. Subtle but significant problem. Over time, I sense that participation will gradually dwindle. Don't know what to do about this, will stay the course until whatever comes, but this is not an imaginary or trivial problem.

Well, when I first came, Q wasn't posting and bread speeds were significantly faster. Bread speeds at night are REALLY slow now, take a look and you'll see. They crawl. Not complaining, I will bake whatever the circumstances. But I'm praying a lot, too.
