Just watched the YT video on this and it got me looking at the Kentucky Derby. Here are some interesting connections:

• Omaha Beach, the favorite, was scratched before the race. His trainers name was Mandella.

• Haikal was also scratched. A search reveals this terms means the chapel of a Coptic church

• The winner, Maximum Security, was disqualified (DQ) to 17th place

• Other interesting names in the race are Code of Honor, Game Winner, Win Win Win, Gray Magician
