Talk is one thing, not voting as a bloc on all issues is another.
There was talk around the time of the Poppy Bush funeral and rumors of W flipping that Barr as AG was part of the flip deal.
If that rumor is accurate, then Barr, who supposedly knows where all the bodies are buried, would be a mediator accepted by all sides. IOW, he won't allow himself to get bullshitted by one side only.
"Knowing where all the bodies are buried", would mean he's not squeaky clean IMO. So, I'd say he's not a choir boy, but considered fair. As they say, "It ain't beanbag".
