Concerning helium shortages, let us remember we have the Clintons to thank for the Helium Privatization Act of 1996, which allowed our National Helium Reserve to be sold off to any buyer, including foreign interests such as China. The helium, carefully collected over decades, was supposed to insure future domestic supplies.
