CLARKE COUNTY, Ga. (FOX 5 Atlanta) - Officers have arrested a Clarke County teacher who they say had a "potentially inappropriate relationship" with a student.
Athens-Clarke County Police said that they arrested 24-year-old Winterville resident Quinnesha Sha'Tara Turner for an incident that happened off-campus.
Turner is charged with sexual assault by a person with supervisory authority, aggravated child molestation, and enticing a child for indecent purposes.

In a statement, the Clarke County School System said they were informed about the incident on Saturday and the immediately placed Turner on administrative leave.
"While we cannot share any further details due to our need to protect the student and the nature of the investigation, we are extremely troubled by the allegations that have been made," a representative for the school system said.
