Not only that, one or two planes were on their way to literally nuke Egypt in supposed retaliation, although ole LBJ and his "sending crates of weapon-shaped 'oranges' to (((that country)))" was in on the FF. It was only because the ship's comm crew managed to get a message out with a tin can and some string that the bombing mission was called off, because the truth would have gotten out about what really happened.
