Mr. President,

Very nice to see your concern about the health of American citizens. Deeply appreciated, as are the many, many other excellent actions you have taken.

So why are you allowing G5 to proceed when everyone knows there are massive and legit questions about what it will do to all of us? No way, no how should this be. We don't need it–life is fine without it. It is going to irretrievably screw up how our world looks, while frying our organs. Are you being advised by nefarious people? Whoever controls this grid will control everything. Prove that you are a true leader and stop this insanity before it goes any further. If you do not, about 10,000 lawsuits will.

False. In addition to all the wins, Q has enormous cadre of awakened anons digging truth, invested in the outcome, personally committed to the success of the operation.

Nothing can stop what is coming.

Nothing.

(You're an idiot.)

Just change the post – add a space or something - and retry. It happens to everyone now and then. If spouseanon and I post at the same moment, one of us gets flood detected. Maybe your IP address is shared with someone via a VPN.

>>6480997 Not even remotely the same thing as that fat guy on stage. The image you posted is Kisenosato, recently retired Yokozuna (rope belt), the highest rank in sumo. Ergo, Grand Champion.

They are not "wrestlers." Each bout is called a "fight." And indeed it is. These guys are the baddest asses on the planet. One slap from a super strong 400 pounder would take the head off a normal man. There are around 100 techniques for winning. They are skilled fighters/martial artists, whose agility & ability would stun most people if they actually watched them fight.

A tournament (basho) is held every other month, on the odd months. The current basho began yesterday. They fight for 15 days in a row, always beginning and ending on a Sunday. It is a great honor for POTUS to be invited to present the Emperor's Cup to the winner on the final day.

The thought of insult never entered my head. Just 'splainin' a few things to the board, not to you in particular.

The Sumo Association has a lot of power over these guys. They do what they are told. Like all pro sports, it is mostly about money, though sumo holds a special place in the Japanese psyche. If they are told to fake an injury and retire from that particular basho, they do it. Yao cho is also common, which is the throwing of a bout. It is desirable to those in charge to be able to "form" the basho, to have it unfold in the most entertaining an profitable way. So if they desire to have rikishi X vs. rikishi Y on senshuraku (final day), you can bet that it will turn out that way.

Each stable is allowed one foreigner only to train there. So you get some monsters from around the world that fight, but their numbers are limited. They are usually at a big disadvantage because they grew up in places where sumo was not practiced, so they are behind in technique. The Mongols are the exception, because it is big in Mongolia. Also, they are extremely big, large boned men. The 2 current yokozuna are Mongols….Kakuryu & Hakuho (greatest sumo of all time, still going, went 15-0 last basho but for "some" reason is not in this basho.

Look sometimes it's just a networking glitch where the server thinks it has seen your post before. Maybe 2 copies of a packet arrived or something. If it happens just retry and that always fixed it.

>>6481158 Hakuho now has extended his yusho (championship) total to 42, by far the most ever. An absolute joy to watch him fight…he has it all. Last basho he went undefeated, resulting in what is called a zen yusho (for the board, not you).

Mentioned yao cho. With experience, you can usually tell whether the bout is fought straight up or not. For example, if a rikishi's favorite technique involves getting the right inside grip on the belt, and it is clearly available during the bout, but he eschews to take the grip, you can pretty well bank on him throwing the bout on orders.

Or, sometimes it isn't on orders. To hold one's spot on the banzuke (rankings ladder), one must win at least 8 of the 15 bouts in the basho. This is called kachi koshi (majority wins). If a sumo enters final day with a 7-7 record, his ranking and earnings are on the line. If he is up against someone who is already majority wins or losses, and who therefore doesn't care that much about the outcome (unless he is going for promotion), a bundle of cashish might change hands in the locker room beforehand.
