REPOST - as I think Q team is urging me to push this, could be wrong…
On Saturday night some "Anon" was dropping multiple hints that I interpreted as a direction to watch the livestream of Pompeo and to post links to it. For instance, the pic above appeared while the livestream was on, and was obviously FROM the livestream. This would only be obvious to someone actually WATCHING the livestream, so I interpreted the post as coming from "Anon" (aka Q) and I kept reposting links to the livestream. It all started when I noticed some "Anon" mentioning that Pompeo was speaking at the Claremont Institute 40th anniversary gala (and Claremont Institute happens to be where "The Flight 93 Election" was first published), and another "Anon" noting that Pompeo would be there with Michael Anton.
I watched the speach thinking it would say something big, and although Pompeo did say "reawakening" I didn't catch anything major. But there was one very odd line that I caught right away, but I didn't really understand it until a bit later. Pompeo started off by thanking people he worked with who were affiliated with Claremont Institute, including his two speechwriters, and he specifically said they were responsible for his joke about Leo Strauss. However… he did NOT end up making a joke about Leo Strauss.
Let's step back… Leo Strauss was a political philosopher known for studying how historical political writers used coded language to communicate in ways that allow them to avoid persecution and censorship while still effectively getting their message out. (Hmmm… sounds like…)
I was watching the Pompeo speech because I was thinking (based on all sorts of prior clues) that it was all going to go down on Saturday night, and since "Anon" was pushing the Pompeo speech and the Anton connection, that maybe there was going to be some reference to Anton in the speech. And I IMMEDIATELY interpreted the Strauss reference as a setup for this. But there was no such reference and no joke…
But after a while I realized, THAT WAS THE JOKE. Pompeo HAD INDEED succeeded in making me catch the reference to Anton without doing so overtly. It was a coded communication and I got the joke.
Now, why is Pompeo making this joke that very few people are going to get? We'll get there. I posted my analysis of the joke, and sure enough "Anon" reponds with a comic panel suggesting that Strauss was a bad dude who influenced the neocons, who seemed to view ordinary Americans as cannon fodder and used Strauss to push totalitarianism:

Notice that the comic itself suggests at the bottom that this is a MISUSE by the neocons. I responded by noting that this might involve the difference between "West Coast" and "East Coast" Straussians, and Anon responds with "Am vaguely remembering a vivid and loaded direct quote."
Now, there was no such quote in Pompeo's speech, but it so happens that I myself DID have a very pertinent passage about Strauss in an earlier post that was the first part of a multi-post explanation of why Michael Anton is "Q" and why the "Let's Roll!" meme will be used by POTUS. Here it is:
"Finally, and most decisively, Anton is a West-Coast Straussian. Straussianism itself is a political philosophy that gives particular emphasis to the idea that political thinkers, in certain times where persecution is likely, must present their ideas esoterically, via hidden meanings. West-Coast Straussianism was a particularly pro-American version of Straussianism touted by Anton's teacher Harry Jaffa (who wrote Goldwater's "extremism in the defense of liberty" speech). The most crucial historical figure when it comes to esoteric political writing is Plato, and anyone who has engaged in deep reading of Plato will recognize moves that Q makes."
The upshot is that "Anon" is probably referencing my own words, and this was probably all a setup to get me to push this passage to prominence. This would make sense, since Q really is more akin to Plato than to some snake oil merchant. It is all well and good if some honest person has not really heard the truth about Q and doesn't know that, but anyone actually contending that Q is some snake oil merchant is literally an uneducated fool.
Here is the longer post where that passage comes from:

But I wouldn't actually read that first. I'd start with the synopsis post that follows (if you've never read it before), which I think Q is again urging me to push.
