Here in Los Angeles (Los Demons), the local media love to broadcast whatever Rob Reiner says on matters political. Not long ago I heard him babbling about something anti-Trump. It reminded me of a day in which I spent time in his company, along with his father Carl, and the Reiner children.

The occasion was a stand-up comedy show featuring children as the performers, and Reiner's kids were part of the show. I was there in support of a (then) friend whose nephew is a student at the school where Reiner's kids go. The nephew was a friend of one of the performers, and I happened to be at the wrong place at the right time to get roped into going to one of the big comedy clubs on a Sunday afternoon to watch the kiddie comedy show.

The age range was 12 to 17. The performers were part of a comedy class taught by a pair of Hwood comedy professionals (two women). At the end of course they put on a live show. I later learned that many of the kids in that course come from the Crossroads school, known for their high profile celebrity parents and alumni. Performing with the Reiner kids that day was the daughter of SNL cast member Laraine Newman. I was later told that the children of Glenn Frey (Eagles band) were also part of that comedy class, and students at Crossroads.

Clearly the school is favored by strident high profile left wingers. Their wiki page alone likely has enough info to begin proper digging on the school and it's patronage. Two notable items are the name choices of their published academic journal - Kollektiv, and the creepy literary arts journal titled Dark as Day.

Turns out the Andrew Breitbart began digging into Crossroads years ago, according to Wiki.

It needs to be pointed out that Crossroads is also the name of a Robert Johnson song. Legend has it that Robert Johnson sold his soul to Satan at a crossroads in exchange for the ability to master the blues. His music would go on to be highly influential to a number of rock music performers, notably Eric Clapton and Cream, who in the 1960's recorded a popular cover of the song Crossroads.

I forgot to add that the style of comedy for most of the kiddie performers was general random, innocent stuff. Some of the older kids did political humor, and naturally it was pro Democrats and anti Republican. Programming komplete! Yes, the room was filled with very icky people.
