I actually read your link (don't look so shocked, it happens!).
Greg Trimble is correct about many Christians not wanting to read what Jesus actually said because it's easier to just bend his words to fit your lifestyle and claim you're saved because you 'believe'.
But then he wants to make an example about how to stand up for the faith properly, and goes directly to opposing homosexuality. Which Jesus of course never even bothered to mention (!), so instead he has to go fishing for a rationalization for his homophobic beliefs in the Bible, and he finds something said by Paul that he can latch onto.
You know, Paul, the guy who admitted to once having been a most zealous Jew working harder than anyone to destroy Christianity, but who then claimed to have been "converted". In other words, a Jew that infiltrated the early church to destroy it from within. That Paul.
If you find yourself taking the words of Paul over the words of Jesus, then guess what, you're trying to bend the Bible to fit your views instead of the other way around. Jesus was hard on sin, but he never stated that homosexuality is inherently sinful. In fact, he never mentioned it at all. It's almost as if he had bigger fish to fry or something.
TL/DR: Greg Trimble is a giant hypocrite who bends the Bible to fit his own needs, and then goes off to complain about others doing the same.
