I believe you are correct and revival will have no play in what happens.
The Roman Catholic Church adulterated Jesus' teachings centuries ago, altered the Bible, and you know what they have been up to lately.
Martin Luther called them out for what they were doing in 1517 and was subsequently excommunicated.
He was attempting to expose (them) and (their) antics for what they were over 500 years ago.
He could reasonably be considered the first one, to have pursued the exposure that is in fact, the backbone of our current movement.
