So, who is John Dunham, and why was he appointed?

Durham does have a history of going after official corruption in federal law enforcement and intelligence agencies.

Durham was appointed to lead that investigation by Janet Reno, Bill Clinton’s Attorney General.

Notably, the Boston abuses he investigated – that resulted in prison time for FBI agent John Connolly, who collaborated with crime boss White Bulger and framed four innocent men for murders that Bulger commtted – involved Robert Mueller, who was assistant US Attorney and then acting US Attorney in Boston for much of the period. Mueller “wrote letters to the parole and pardon boards throughout the 1980s opposing clemency for the four men framed by FBI lies.”

Durham apparently has been at work on related issues of leaks and has a sterling bipartisan reputation as a corruption fighter. This could well give him a head start on a special counsel. If a speedy uncovering of corruption is an issue, this is a good move.

is expected to join Barr’s staff as a counselor. Murray clerked from 2012 to 2013 for Justice Samuel Alito, following a clerkship with then-Judge Brett Kavanaugh on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the D.C. Circuit. At the White House, Murray worked on the team that shepherded Kavanaugh though his confirmation fight last year.

CIA Chief John Brennan, DNI Chief James Clapper and FBI Director James Comey were all involved in promoting the phony, Hillary-funded dossier and passed it around the various intel agencies.

Hillary’s phony dossier even ended up in the IC report, contrary to statements made by Clapper under oath.

Laura Jarrett also reported that the US Attorney tapped by Barr to investigate Spygate, John Durham, will be working with Barr on a “360 degree review of the situation.”

So what exactly is John Huber, the special prosecutor tapped by former AG Sessions doing?

Jarrett reported that Huber has “been in a holding pattern as the DOJ IG completes review of the situation surrounding Carter Page surveillance warrant – his work on Clinton wrapping soon.”

This is why the Democrat-media complex is viciously attacking Bill Barr — they no longer have control over the Justice Department because unlike Jeff Sessions, Bill Barr is about the rule of law.
