Too many bad cops. And the good cops never call out the bad ones. There is never justice in these cases. The police state is out of control. Even if this woman walks away, how is that a threat to the officer? Why taze her? This cop should face double homicide charges.
There was absolutely no reason to use the taser. The cop escalated the situation needlessly.
People shouting "just obey the law" fail to understand that human beings will fight back when attacked. This dumbass cop thinks he is God and doesn't even understand basic human psychology of fight or flight. Way, way too many cops with attitudes walking around.
Not before he tased her from a distance. Dumbass cop even lived in the same apartment complex with the woman. If he wanted to arrest her, call for some backup. She was just walking around. She fought back when attacked. The cop started this whole thing.
Cops start a fight, then shoot people when they fight back.
Yeah, "disorderly conduct" "furtive movements" "I felt threatened" - they have all kinds of excuses for their bad behaviors. Juries are typically too passive and weak to see through their bullshit. I've watched it happen in courtrooms. Cop pulled over a guy because he saw "furtive movements" in the car, when there was otherwise no reason to pull him over. They never did ask him to define what it meant and why it made pulling him over for no reason okay.
I know most cops are good. What I said was the good ones don't ever confront and out the bad ones. I personally know a guy who became a cop for this reason and it is his exact quote "so I can whip some ass." His attitude as an officer has reflected that attitude over and over. Yet, nothing happens.
There needs to be serious consequences for bad cops. So serious that the bad ones don't even consider becoming a cop an option. Same goes for politicians.
