He's like Barr; He was on the ground when everything went down. Knows what happened so you can't bullshit him or you're going to be in more trouble. Barr, RR, Durham and O'Callagahan all know where the bodies are buried.
They're probably mediators at this point. Bad guys know POTUS can't bullshit them (not saying he would) and POTUS knows bad guys can't bullshit them. It's all about plea deals at this point, IMO, so you need guys who know the turf and what went down to work out the details. My guess Rudy is the hammer. Fuck with these guys and you're going to have to deal with Rudy and (my guess) the Wiener laptop.
