COMEY LAUNCHED TRUMP RUSSIA INVESTIGATION DAY AFTER GENERAL EXPOSED ‘THE HAMMER’

FBI Deputy Assistant Director of the Counterintelligence Division Peter Strzok and his supposed paramour, FBI lawyer Lisa Page, exchanged a cryptic, indeed coded, text message on Sunday, March 19, 2017, twenty-six minutes after retired U.S. Air Force Four Star General Thomas McInerney read our exclusive “Whistleblower Tapes” exposé over America’s airwaves, revealing “The Hammer.”

The Hammer is the Stasi-like secret surveillance system created by CIA/NSA/FBI contractor-turned-whistleblower Dennis L. Montgomery for Obama’s intelligence chiefs, CIA Director John Brennan and Director of National Intelligence James Clapper.

The Hammer, under the Obama administration, negated every American’s constitutional rights to privacy, turning the United States into a police state where the federal government was weaponized by the Obama administration against its political enemies.

According to the secretly-recorded audio tapes released by Federal Judge G. Murray Snow, Brennan’s and Clapper’s illicit super surveillance system “The Hammer” wiretapped Trump “a zillion times.”

Late that Sunday evening, just hours after General McInerney’s radio appearance, Strzok and Page exchanged a text message that explicitly referenced Dennis Montgomery and Montgomery’s attorney Larry E. Klayman.

Only a few hours earlier, General McInerney had referenced Montgomery and Klayman on “Operation Freedom,” exactly the same names about which Strzok and Page were now texting.

General McInerney appeared on Dr. Dave Janda’s “Operation Freedom” that broadcasts from terrestrial radio station WAAM 1600.

The next morning, the Russian Collusion investigation was born.

Early the following morning, Monday, March 20, 2017, FBI Director Jim Comey announced before the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence that the FBI Counterintelligence Division, where Strzok served as Deputy Assistant Director, was investigating Trump’s connections to the Kremlin, and that the FBI had “no information” to support Trump’s tweet claiming that President Obama wiretapped Trump.

That morning, FBI Director Jim Comey lied to the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence and to the American people.

Comey was well aware that President Trump was under illegal surveillance because Montgomery had already turned over to Comey’s FBI mountains of evidence confirming the existence of Brennan’s and Clapper’s illegal surveillance system.

On August 19, 2015, Montgomery turned over to FBI Director Jim Comey’s office 47 hard drives that he alleges contain over 600 million pages of documentation from Brennan’s and Clapper’s secret surveillance system.

Pastor who raped daughter, 14, gets light prison sentence because he is a man of God

A pastor facing life in prison for raping his 14-year-old daughter was shown mercy by a judge who was impressed by his alleged religious faith.

David Richards, 41, was sentenced to 12 years in jail on Thursday in Knox County Tennessee for raping his adoptive daughter – 60 years less than the maximum term sought by prosecutors.

As he handed down the lenient sentence, Judge Steve Sword cited Richard’s work as a pastor and the Bible study he began in jail as mitigating factors. Richards was found guilty of rape, incest, and sexual battery by an authority figure for abusing his daughter, Amber Richards, for two years beginning when she was 14, according to the Knoxville News Sentinel.

Victims of sexual crimes are not typically identified in court, but Amber chose to testify publicly after her adoptive father was convicted in February.

She delivered a heart-wrenching victim statement Thursday, saying : ‘I wanted to throw my body away. Not a day goes by that I don’t, in some way, think of what he did to me.’ ‘I firmly believe if given the opportunity, he would victimize another girl,’ she continued.

Prosecutors said Richards abused his daughter for two years before she reported it to authorities. Upon investigation, forensic testing found traces of Richards’ semen on the girl’s bed frame. Richards, however, claimed that he was innocent as he took the witness stand in his own defense.

He said: ‘I stand before you convicted of crimes I did not commit. I simply believe the system just erred in this case.’ ‘I’m not sure why I’m here…but I assume it’s for his (God’s) purpose,’ he said. Richards was formerly a pastor at My Father’s House Church of God in Lenoir City.

In court on Thursday, more than 30 parishioners and friends sat on Richards’ side of the courtroom in a show of support. David Thomspon, who shared ministry duties with Richards, testified and expressed doubt at the charges, saying: ‘I find it impossible for me to believe he’s guilty of this.

His business needs him. His family needs him. Our church needs him.’ Under state law, all the charges Richards was convicted of could have been punished by only probation, except for sexual battery by an authority figure that carries a minimum of three years in prison. Richards is currently seeking a new trial.

Rudy Giuliani drops truth bombs: “Steele memorandum written in Ukraine”

After a full day of media hysteria, Trump attorney Rudy Giuliani announced Friday evening that he has canceled his trip to Ukraine. “I’ve decided I’m not going to go to Ukraine, Giuliani told Fox News’ Shannon Bream. He said that the reason he bailed is because he has discovered that the president of Ukraine is surrounded by political enemies and is convinced that he was about to walk into a trap.

Giuliani had planned “to visit Kiev and meet with president-elect Volodymyr Zelensky to ask that Ukraine pursue investigations into two matters,” the Washington Examiner reported:

… the origin of special counsel Robert Mueller’s investigation into Russian interference in the 2016 presidential election and the involvement of Joe Biden’s son in an energy company owned by a Ukrainian oligarch. Last week Giuliani called for Biden to be investigated for a trip he made in 2016 when he threatened to withhold $1 billion in U.S. loan guarantees if Ukraine did not dismiss Viktor Shokin, the country’s then-prosecutor general. Biden’s son, Hunter, stood to gain financially from having Shokin removed.

The New York Times opined on Thursday that “Mr. Giuliani’s plans create the remarkable scene of a lawyer for the president of the United States pressing a foreign government to pursue investigations that Mr. Trump’s allies hope could help him in his reelection campaign and it comes after Mr. Trump spent more than half of his term facing questions about whether his 2016 campaign conspired with a foreign power.

What the Times forgot to mention is that the reason Mr. Trump has been facing questions is because his team was set up by foreign spies. Giuliani was traveling to Ukraine to encourage the government there to get to the bottom of it.

Giuliani told Bream, “I wasn’t going to start an investigation — they already have an investigation of how Ukrainians helped the DNC and Hillary operatives to get, in some cases false, dirty information about the Trump campaign.” He also said he believes that parts of the Steele dossier were written in Ukraine.

Giuliani said that there were fears that the Ukrainian president-elect “would be surrounded by literally enemies of the president” who were involved in the 2016 Russia collusion hoax.

Supreme Court president invokes Nazi era in implicit swipe at Netanyahu

Esther Hayut says judicial institutions can’t ‘withstand every attack’; PM said to be seeking legislation that would shatter judicial oversight

The chief justice of Israel’s Supreme Court on Tuesday made a speech in Nuremberg, Germany, that expressed implied criticism of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s planned judicial reforms and invoked the Nazi takeover of Germany in the 1930s.

“History is not repeating itself,” Esther Hayut clarified at an event hosted by the Israeli German Lawyers Association, “but it gives us the opportunity to learn from it and enables us to see patterns and judge for ourselves.”

A report by the Haaretz daily on Monday said the prime minister was planning to promote a bill that would allow the Knesset to ignore the Supreme Court’s administrative rulings, and would also permit parliament to resubmit laws that have been struck down by the court in the past.

It would thus prevent the court from overturning both Knesset legislation and government decisions on constitutional grounds. According to the report, the planned bill will be included in a legal annex to coalition agreements and government guidelines.

Netanyahu later in the day railed at the “misleading” and “distorted” media reports, but indicated that he thought the bench should not be able to strike down legislation.

Trey Gowdy tells Barr’s investigator John Durham where to look

Former congressman Trey Gowdy appeared on “Hannity” Monday where he reacted to Attorney General William Barr appointing a U.S. attorney to examine the origins of the Russia investigation, saying investigators had an “easy road map.”

“This is the fourth person that’s been charged with investigating the origins of the Russia probe. So I’m more interested in how quickly they do it and how effectively they do it more than the numbers. If this is the right person to do it, more power to them. There’s an easy road map to follow,” Gowdy told host Sean Hannity.

Attorney General Bill Barr picked Durham for a reason. He is known to be a bulldog who has investigated law enforcement and the CiA. Durham is already working alongside the DOJ Inspector General and is investigating James Baker’s leaks to the media to determine if they were authorized.

Durham will examine the origins of Spygate according to multiple news reports. This comes one month after Attorney General Bill Barr announced at a congressional hearing that he would review the spying of the Trump campaign.

During the discussion on ‘Hannity’, Trey Gowdy suggested Prosecutor John Durham look for emails between Brennan and Comey in December 2016.

“We know the origins of the Russia probe, what the Russians did to us. I want to know the origins of when bureau began to intermingle the Trump campaign with the Russia probe. You just quoted Lindsey Graham they want to stop Trump. All he was doing was quoting Peter Strzok. That’s what Peter Strzok said in a text. ‘No, we’ll stop it.’ So what are the origins then I want to know how did the FBI assess Christopher Steele? They have their own internal documents,” Gowdy said.

Gowdy was asked by Hannity, if the Russian dossier was used to lie to the FISA court in order “undo a duly elected president” and take him down.

“The lead agent in charge of investigating this, said he thought Trump would be destabilizing, had an insurance policy, and promised his lover he would stop it. You answer it,” Gowdy said.

Jeffrey Epstein’s Purchase From Department of Justice May Be Voided

Jeffrey Epstein, a 66-year-old billionaire hedge fund manager, sexually assaulted dozens of underage girls at his Palm Beach mansion in the 2000s. His wealth allowed him to make a handsome purchase at that one-stop shopping center that sells justice to the rich – the Orwellian-named Department of Justice.

At the time the government sold Epstein his justice, in 2008, the FBI had identified three dozen girls, most between 13 to 16 years old, who gave Epstein massages that turned into sex acts. He and others had a recruitment plan, which resembled a pyramid scheme, to get children to his mansion.

Instead of being federally prosecuted on sex trafficking charges and, if convicted, sent to prison for life, Epstein was allowed to plead guilty in state court to prostitution charges. He served 13 months in the Palm Beach County jail and, while there, was given work release that allowed him to come and go from jail almost daily. He was freed in 2009.

Former Miami federal prosecutor Alexander Acosta, who is now President Trump’s secretary of labor, negotiated the sale to Epstein – crafting a secret non-prosecution deal in 2008.

The total cost to Epstein is unknown but I would hazard a guess that it cost him north of $10 million – a fraction of his wealth – and was distributed in various nooks and crannies, where cash placed in pockets is better than seeing an old perv in prison.

Last November, the Miami Herald published a series, “Perversion of Justice,” [It might have been titled “Sale of Justice”] that revealed how Acosta and other prosecutors worked to concoct and conceal the deal and revealed the extent of Epstein’s crimes [which was planned to be kept secret to avoid public scrutiny and prevent victims from opposing the deal.] The Herald’s investigation identified 80 women who were possible underage victims of Epstein, located around the world.

The Herald has not uncovered the actual purchase price paid for justice, and who got what, but it is evident, from their report, that Epstein’s wealth – and his wealth alone – allowed him to buy a commodity often sold at the Department of Justice – freedom.

Terrorist massacre of children in Syrian Christian town of Al Suqalibiyah on borders of North Hama and Idlib

This morning, the 12th May 2019, the remnants of terrorist groups still embedded in the countryside of northern Hama and Idlib targeted the Syrian Christian town of Al Skeilbiyyeh. 6 children have been martyred, many others have been injured, some critically. At least one was taken to Hama National Hospital and put on life support.

The Western-sponsored terrorist groups, led by Nusra Front or the HTS rebrand, attacked the city with Grad missiles and mercilessly mowed down children in their homes and as they were playing in the Monastery which doubles up as a school and community center. Following the recent Syrian Arab Army advances and liberation of the surrounding countryside, civilians in the town had finally begun to relax. The threat of missiles, death and destruction seemed, finally, to have ended. This morning it returned and claimed the lives of children, innocent children.

Iran Calls Tanker Sabotage Off UAE A “False Flag”, Says It Expected Such Actions

On May 12th, four commercial ships were sabotaged, near the United Arab Emirates’ (UAE) territorial waters in the Gulf of Oman, east of Fujairah, in the Persian Gulf, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, MOFAIC announced.

There were no injuries and no fatalities on the vessels, and there were no spills of hazardous chemicals or fuel.

“The MOFAIC statement said that the carrying out acts of sabotage on commercial and civilian vessels and threatening the safety and lives of those on board is a serious development. It called on the international community to assume its responsibilities to prevent such actions by parties attempting to undermine maritime traffic safety and security.

The Ministry also described as ‘baseless and unfounded’ rumours earlier today, 12th May, of incidents taking place within the Port of Fujairah, saying that operations within the port were under way as normal, without any interruption.”

On May 13th, Saudi Arabia’s Energy Minister Khalid al-Falih said that two of the allegedly attacked tankers were Saudi Arabian.

The Propaganda Multiplier: How Global News Agencies and Western Media Report on Geopolitics

Introduction: “Something strange”

“How does the newspaper know what it knows?” The answer to this question is likely to surprise some newspaper readers: “The main source of information is stories from news agencies. The almost anonymously operating news agencies are in a way the key to world events. So what are the names of these agencies, how do they work and who finances them? To judge how well one is informed about events in East and West, one should know the answers to these questions.” (Höhne 1977, p. 11)

A Swiss media researcher points out:

“The news agencies are the most important suppliers of material to mass media. No daily media outlet can manage without them. () So the news agencies influence our image of the world; above all, we get to know what they have selected.” (Blum 1995, p. 9)

In view of their essential importance, it is all the more astonishing that these agencies are hardly known to the public:

“A large part of society is unaware that news agencies exist at all … In fact, they play an enormously important role in the media market. But despite this great importance, little attention has been paid to them in the past.” (Schulten-Jaspers 2013, p. 13)

Even the head of a news agency noted:

“There is something strange about news agencies. They are little known to the public. Unlike a newspaper, their activity is not so much in the spotlight, yet they can always be found at the source of the story.” (Segbers 2007, p. 9)

“The Invisible Nerve Center of the Media System”

So what are the names of these agencies that are “always at the source of the story”? There are now only three global agencies left:

The American Associated Press (AP) with over 4000 employees worldwide. The AP belongs to US media companies and has its main editorial office in New York. AP news is used by around 12,000 international media outlets, reaching more than half of the world’s population every day.

The quasi-governmental French Agence France-Presse (AFP) based in Paris and with around 4000 employees. The AFP sends over 3000 stories and photos every day to media all over the world.

The British agency Reuters in London, which is privately owned and employs just over 3000 people. Reuters was acquired in 2008 by Canadian media entrepreneur Thomson – one of the 25 richest people in the world – and merged into Thomson Reuters, headquartered in New York.

In addition, many countries run their own news agencies. However, when it comes to international news, these usually rely on the three global agencies and simply copy and translate their reports.

“What the agency does not report, does not take place”

The central role of news agencies also explains why, in geopolitical conflicts, most media use the same original sources. In the Syrian war, for example, the “Syrian Observatory for Human Rights” – a dubious one-man organization based in London – featured prominently. The media rarely inquired directly at this “Observatory”, as its operator was in fact difficult to reach, even for journalists.

Rather, the “Observatory” delivered its stories to global agencies, which then forwarded them to thousands of media outlets, which in turn “informed” hundreds of millions of readers and viewers worldwide. The reason why the agencies, of all places, referred to this strange “Observatory” in their reporting – and who really financed it – is a question that was rarely asked.

The former chief editor of the German news agency DPA, Manfred Steffens, therefore states in his book “The Business of News”:

“A news story does not become more correct simply because one is able to provide a source for it. It is indeed rather questionable to trust a news story more just because a source is cited. () Behind the protective shield such a ’source‘ means for a news story, some people are quite inclined to spread rather adventurous things, even if they themselves have legitimate doubts about their correctness; the responsibility, at least morally, can always be attributed to the cited source.” (Steffens 1969, p. 106)

Dependence on global agencies is also a major reason why media coverage of geopolitical conflicts is often superficial and erratic, while historic relationships and background are fragmented or altogether absent. As put by Steffens:

“News agencies receive their impulses almost exclusively from current events and are therefore by their very nature ahistoric. They are reluctant to add any more context than is strictly required.” (Steffens 1969, p. 32)

Finally, the dominance of global agencies explains why certain geopolitical issues and events – which often do not fit very well into the US/NATO narrative or are too “unimportant” – are not mentioned in our media at all: if the agencies do not report on something, then most Western media will not be aware of it. As pointed out on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the German DPA: “What the agency does not report, does not take place.” (Wilke 2000, p. 1)

The pure agency texts – from short notices to the detailed reports – were mostly on the Internet pages of the daily newspapers: on the one hand, the pressure for breaking news is higher than in the printed edition, on the other hand, there are no space restrictions. Most other types of articles were found in both the online and printed editions; some exclusive interviews and background reports were found only in the printed editions. All items were collected only once for the investigation.

The following Figure 2 shows the same classification on a per newspaper basis. During the observation period (two weeks), most newspapers published between 40 and 50 articles on the Syrian conflict (print and online). In the German newspaper Die Welt there were more (58), in the Basler Zeitung and the Austrian Kurier, however, significantly less (29 or 33).

Depending on which newspaper, the share of agency reports is almost 50% (Welt, Süddeutsche, NZZ, Basler Zeitung), just under 60% (FAZ, Tagesanzeiger), and 60 to 70% (Presse, Standard, Kurier). Together with the agency-based reports, the proportion in most newspapers is between approx. 70% and 80%. These proportions are consistent with previous media studies (e.g., Blum 1995, Johnston 2011, MacGregor 2013, Paterson 2007).

In the background reports, the Swiss newspapers were leading (five to six pieces), followed by Welt, Süddeutsche and Standard (four each) and the other newspapers (one to three). The background reports and analyzes were in particular devoted to the situation and development in the Middle East, as well as to the motives and interests of individual actors (for example Russia, Turkey, the Islamic State).

However, most of the commentaries were to be found in the German newspapers (seven comments each), followed by Standard (five), NZZ and Tagesanzeiger (four each). Basler Zeitung did not publish any commentaries during the observation period, but two interviews. Other interviews were conducted by Standard (three) and Kurier and Presse (one each). Investigative research, however, could not be found in any of the newspapers.

In particular, in the case of the three German newspapers, a journalistically problematic blending of opinion pieces and reports was noted. Reports contained strong expressions of opinion even though they were not marked as commentary. The present study was in any case based on the article labeling by the newspaper.

US Attorney John Durham Began Investigating Spygate Scandal “Weeks Ago” – Working Directly with IG Horowitz on FISA Abuses

The media was stunned Monday after it was revealed AG Bill Barr appointed top special prosecutor John Durham to investigate the origins of the Russia probe.

John Durham, a US Attorney in Connecticut was nominated by Trump in 2017 and has a history of investigating wrongdoing among national security officials.

It turns out that Bill Barr assigned John Durham to investigate the Spygate scandal weeks ago.

Fox News Producer Jake Gibson reported Tuesday that John Durham has been working on the investigation into the origins of the FBI’s CI probe into ‘Trump-Russia’ for “weeks.”

A person familiar with the process says US Attorney John Durham has been working on the investigation into the origins of the FBI’s counterintelligence investigation into Russian meddling in the 2016 presidential election and the Trump Campaign for “weeks.”

It was revealed Tuesday that Barr is working closely with CIA Director Gina Haspel, Director of National Intelligence, Dan Coats and FBI Director Christopher Wray on surveillance issues related to Trump’s 2016 campaign.

This suggests a broader inter-agency effort is underway.

Fox News also learned that John Durham is working directly with Inspector General Michael Horowitz on looking at the FISA abuses.

IG Horowitz is in the final stages of his investigation into the FISA abuses that took place during the 2016 election and is reportedly close to releasing his final report.

Obama’s corrupt FBI/DOJ used Hillary’s phony Russia dossier to obtain a FISA warrant and three subsequent renewals on Trump campaign advisor Carter Page.

The first FISA warrant on Carter Page was granted in October of 2016, just weeks before Election Day and the 4th and final warrant was granted in June of 2017 — then-DAG Rosenstein and FBI Deputy McCabe both signed the June 2017 FISA warrant on Page, one month after Mueller was appointed as special counsel.

It is widely believed that there were also FISA warrants on General Mike Flynn, Trump campaign chair Paul Manafort and Trump camp foreign policy advisor George Papadopoulos, however that has not been publicly confirmed.

Trump Motorcade Involved In Accident On Louisiana Highway

Police officers escorting President Trump's motorcade were involved in an accident on Tuesday during the president's trip to Louisiana.

By the looks of it some of the officers may have sustained serious injuries. But Trump's limousine was unaffected.

What caused the incident was unclear.

Barr Reportedly Working Closely With CIA To Review Russia Probe Origins

Attorney General William Barr is reportedly working closely with the directors of the CIA, FBI and Office of the Director of National Intelligence to review the origins of the Trump-Russia probe, as well as surveillance efforts against the Trump campaign.

According to CNN, Barr is working with CIA Director Gina Haspel, FBI Director Christopher Wray, and ODNI Director Dan Coats on the interagency review.

Barr told Congress in April that he planned to form a team within the Justice Department to investigate whether the U.S. government improperly surveilled the Trump campaign.

“I think spying did occur,” Barr told the Senate Appropriations Committee on April 10.

“Yes, I think spying did occur,” Barr repeated, adding, “but the question is whether it was predicated, adequately predicated.”

“I’m not suggesting it wasn’t adequately predicated, but I need to explore that.”

On Monday, it was reported that Barr appointed John Durham, the U.S. attorney for Connecticut, to investigate the matter.

The probe is running parallel to a Justice Department inspector general’s investigation into the FBI’s handling of surveillance warrants against Trump campaign adviser Carter Page. Michael Horowitz, the inspector general, is also reportedly investigating the FBI’s use of confidential informants, including dossier author Christopher Steele and former Cambridge professor Stefan Halper.

The FBI officially began its investigation of the Trump campaign on July 31, 2016, after receiving information from the Australian government about George Papadopoulos, a Trump campaign adviser.

The bureau relied heavily on information from Steele, a former British spy, to obtain foreign intelligence surveillance warrants against Carter Page. Horowitz is investigating whether the FBI properly disclosed information about Steele and his investigation to the judges who approved the spy warrants against Page.

The FBI has also not explained why Halper, a longtime FBI informant, made contact with Page at a political event held at the University of Cambridge in England three weeks before receiving the information on Papadopoulos.

Halper was also in contact with Papadopoulos. The pair met in London in September 2016 after Papadopoulos accepted an offer of $3,000 and an all-expenses paid trip to discuss writing an academic paper on Mediterranean energy security issues.

Halper was accompanied on the operation by a woman he claimed was his assistant. But The New York Times has reported that the woman, who used the alias Azra Turk, was working as a government investigator. It is still unclear if she was working for the FBI, CIA, or another agency.

The Justice Department did not respond to a request for comment.

In case you think this title is just click bait, you’re wrong. Turns out, vaccine companies are actually draining the blood of pregnant cows’ fetuses for research purposes. (Pharmaceutical companies use calf fetus blood to grow cells for purposes of vaccine creation as well as making laboratory meat.1)

While it pains us to share this, the act of draining a cow’s unborn calf of blood is a legal practice that often results in intense pain and suffering. And not just because vaccine research companies leave pregnant cows standing for hours in pens and cages while they await their fate. Or because some of the pregnant cows give birth while in transit, a violation of animal welfare codes.

Even though the practice is “technically” legal a whistleblower has called out the industry for its brutal practices. However, afraid of getting into trouble with the vaccine industry, the whistleblower has also chosen to conceal their identity. They said,

“Some will leave the cow pregnant as long as possible to get a bigger fetus to get more blood, to get more money. And that cow has already given her life to produce milk, I just don’t see how they justify it. I think it’s an appalling practice.”1

And there’s money to be made. One calf heart provides 300ml of serum. Although Pharmaceutical companies only pay farmers about $50 for their participation in the vaccine research program, the serum’s global value is $2500 per liter.

But how do the pharmaceutical companies obtain the calf’s serum? Warning – it isn’t pretty:

The farmer will hang the cow from a hook and slice out the uterus. Regulations require the cow to have been dead for at least a five minute period of time.

But some people believe that farmers might be intentionally creating an industry of pregnant cows. In other words, creating cows that are pregnant for the sole purpose of additional revenue from pharmaceutical companies to be used in vaccines and vaccine research.”1

It seems like only yesterday that Anthony Weiner was a liberal icon. He was a Democratic Party attack dog who was unafraid to say anything, at any volume level, as long as it made trouble for the Republicans. His righteous indignation was legendary:

About a year after that outburst, Weiner got caught sending a picture of his penis to a woman who was not his wife. He claimed he was hacked. He even blamed Andrew Breitbart. Despite the obfuscatory efforts of comrades such as Rachel Maddow, Weiner's sexting activities were exposed and he resigned from Congress in disgrace. A couple of years later he decided to run for mayor of NYC, and he did surprisingly well until he got himself into even more sexting trouble. And a few years after that, all the libs who once defended him had to watch helplessly as he went to prison for sexting with an underage girl. Attorney Probing Trump-Campaign Spying Once Exposed One of the ‘Greatest Failures’ in FBI History

The U.S. attorney reportedly appointed to investigate whether spying by the FBI on the Trump campaign was legal had previously exposed a conspiracy between the bureau’s agents and mobsters to cover up for murders committed by mob informants.

Attorney General William Barr tasked Attorney John J. Durham in Connecticut to investigate whether spying on President Donald Trump’s presidential campaign in 2016 was adequately predicated, according to Reuters. The Department of Justice did not respond to a request to confirm the appointment.

Durham will scrutinize the conduct of several current and former senior FBI officials, including former Director James Comey, former Deputy Director Andrew McCabe, and former Deputy Assistant Director Peter Strzok. The officials were involved in obtaining a warrant to spy on former Trump campaign associate Carter Page and deployed at least two spies to target Trump campaign advisor George Papadopoulos.

Durham may be one of the most uniquely qualified prosecutors for the job. In 2000, he exposed a group of FBI officials who used murderers as informants. The agents covered up for a murder committed by a pair of mobster informants by framing four innocent men. The conspiracy to cover up for the murder involved the agents, their supervisors and the FBI director himself, according to a ruling (pdf) by a judge who awarded the framed men and their estates more than $100 million in 2006. The bureau did not appeal the ruling.

Durham’s findings led to a Congressional investigation of the FBI’s use of confidential human sources. In 2003, Congress released a scorching 3,500-page report titled “The FBI’s Use of Murders as Informants.” The report concluded that the FBI’s conduct in the case amounted to “one of the greatest failures in the history of federal law enforcement.”
