I don't tweet or formally follow any account. I just tried searching for Doug Collins twitter and I can view account. I never subscribe to anything. I just bookmark and then check when I want to see if anything new. I have a select number of sites I check daily or more often as with twitter accounts. A pain but I have numerous sites where I've seen people say don't get notices of new posts etc.
