Copied From Last Bread, as this is worth repeating
>Simple….because he isn't mortal. Even in the guise of Jesus, if you believe that, dude was still raising the dead, etc. He knew he wasn't an ordinary mortal man.
You know nothing of which you speak.
Jesus WAS a mortal man. He came here to show what mortal men were ideally capable of.
Rather than the populace acknowledging the example he was putting forth, the saw him as THE IDEAL and worshiped him.
That was not his goal, he should be perceived as our perfect Elder Brother.
We have the same Father and the same capabilities as did Jesus.
((They)) DO NOT WANT you to know this.
Matthew 17:20 (KJV) . . . for verily I say unto you, If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you.
Luke 17:6 (KJV) And the Lord said, If ye had faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye might say unto this sycamine tree, Be thou plucked up by the root, and be thou planted in the sea; and it shall obey you.
