Boatfag has a question. Bread #8323 post 6509066 (was a notable) regarding Long Beach Port and a record volume year. Um, tariffs on imports from China to increase on some things to 25% but Official expects imports to increase and exports to decrease. So, imports from places other than China yes? China ships to Nicaragua then same stuff shipped to Mexico and then Long Beach? Please use small words and type slowly because there are a great many ships out there and I understand at best there are three of us boatfags. Right now I'm shifting focus towards CAP PATTON and sisterships and certain ports but still lots of traffic across the briny Deep. Ships are slower, granted, but there are very many of them. Evergreen lines caught interest over the name, but they have been around for many years. OOCL and COSCO have many ships. Hanseatic Unity group has 223 of various types in their fleet alone. Three quarters of the planet is covered in water so watching it all with maximum watch team of three? Should Long Beach be a focal point and go from there or whut?
