Salon Media says they have reached an 11th hour deal to sell the company and its flagship property Salon.com for $5 million. In an SEC filing, Salon also revealed its position was dire and that it would face imminent “bankruptcy and liquidation” if the deal should fall through.

“Because Salon has run deficits for almost every quarter since it was founded, the company has relied on regular interest-free cash advances from Warnock, chairman of Salon’s board, and Hambrecht, a board member,” Politico wrote at the time. “From Salon’s founding until the end of 2015, the most recent data available, Warnock and Hambrecht have given the company nearly $20 million in cash advances, and Warnock also personally guaranteed a $1 million line of credit.”

Completely unable to turn a profit

Was given cash to operate for years despite knowing the company was unable to make a profit.

So why would anyone pay an organization to continue printing biased “news” articles despite being unable to have a return on the investment in a financial way?

What was their expected return on investment?

using a fake scenario to justify the murder of babies?

Using the scenario of medication, drugs, or other outside influences to justify taking a life?

You talk about respecting mistakes made that harmed a child and attempted to use emotional reasoning to justify your position. You even go so far as to say that we should respect sex more in some kind of twisted logic to support your argument.

How about using that respect for sex, and instead of using it to justify murder, how about you use that respect to respect your body and your baby in the womb? Don’t do stupid shit or take medications (or drugs) while pregnant knowing that there can be some kind of adverse effect on the baby?

How about taking personal responsibility for what happens to your body AND the babies body? The whole thing is so damned selfish and disrespectful. Take away that burden of responsibility from the individual and hate those who litaerally made no decisions to place the woman in that position to begin with.

All i see is the attempt to relieve guilt and self realization that YOU (the woman) made the decisions that led to the pregnancy in the first place.

And don’t get into the false gas light of rapists or other horsehit. Their are exceptions to every rule, but the vast majority of abortions are NOT from those situations.
