Diana's death was one of the greatest shocks of my adult life
When I think of the good she could have been doing all this time
The scope of Charles' stupidity is breathtaking. I hope his mother lives to be 140, and outlives him.
What a total idiot. And Camilla. They barely live in the same house. "These people are stupid."
Anons, she is not buried on that island at Althorp
Have talked to the people in the village just up the hill, literally a short walk through an avenue of lime trees from Althorp
Had a roast lunch and a few pints at the Coaching Inn with local friends, and their friends talked about it.
The night before her funeral, the roads were closed and the village church at Great Brington (that village) was lit brightly
The Spencer family tomb is there in that church
She was laid to rest in the Spencer family tomb. The island at Althorp was a kindly plan to keep thousands of people from overwhelming that very small church.
The Washington family (as in George) also has a monument inside that very same church. Spent a spring afternoon in that church. So ancient and perfectly pretty. She's in a peaceful place, and it's not Althorp.
