Speaking of the Bel-Air ATF raid, did any other properties that belonged to Getty's mistress?

Everything about that was SO sketchy

Owning a portfolio of high $ real estate, letting it basically rot in place, refusing to sell it

Safe houses? Trafficking sites? WTF

Anybody got anything recent from Los Angeles news?

Damn LA Times paywall

Yeah.

Used to like Star Trek Next Generation back in the 80's

I can't watch it the same way anymore. It's like I'm seeing totally different shows.

This new "Discovery" series is bound to be a SJW-palooza.

The movies jumped the shark when Cumberbatch was the villain.

The thrill is gone, Star Trek.

No thanks.

Good thing that giant, humming hardware city in Utah still has everything backed up.

I hope all the shitheads get hit with their own "hammer".

DJT jr is pretty good, still some maturing to do

Would work with public speaking coaches

He rushes at times

Doesn't modulate voice; a voice should ebb and flow in volume and rhythm exactly like classical music

A good speech should be like a classical concerto, in multiple "movements", with varying volumes and pacing to paint a more complete picture on different topics

Mark Levin is an example of using a lowered voice to bring his audience in to him

Hannity could be so much better if his voice were not monotone.

Good Christian ministers seem to have an awareness of this, the need to build to a crescendo of the main point of the speech/sermon.

To be fair, it's necessary to rush on TV, where the image is measured in tenths of seconds

But for any video platform other than TV, and campaign speeches would be almost the apex of opportunities to perform a speech "concerto", being conscious of words as musical expression raises the art to an expert level.

Thanks, that's what I was circling around to

"Wrath of Kahn" worked so well because you had good actors (I didn't say great, but they did the job) portraying the eternal father-son conflict

The special effects were just side dishes, not the main course

The remakes and superhero action movies with the same simple, basic plotline

It's all been done to death.

TV is the same way– one tightly crafted formulaic template, constantly

HGTV, Hallmark movies, History Channel programming, sitcoms, it's all the same

Those dogs find one bone and never chew on anything else

Apparently nobody writes a good STORY anymore, with classic conflicts, moving relationships between people, anymore.

Hollywood started cranking out actual propaganda during WWII

Got into bed with the gubmint, and got used to the payola

It just never ended, as we've learned.

BOOM

Remember what we know about the "four families" of California, anons

This so-called "project" was going to be a heist, and Trump stopped it.

If you haven't seen this (it's short), have a look:

Is Weinstein really going to walk away unscathed?

Blind Item #9

Just as I told you, the fix is in. It is really tough to have a transparent process when all the documents are under seal. It is all going to plan for the disgraced producer.
