I can't remember exactly when I started feeling this way (it was prior to 2014) but the idea that the big movie houses were cranking out remake after remake felt off to me in the gut feels departmentโ€ฆ

 

It felt to me like Hollywood was recycling themes for some specific purpose I couldn't put my finger on, because I didn;'t know what I do now.

 

At the time I wrote it off as Hollywood cashing in on the cow for a new set of eyes.

 

I'm still shaking my head at how close I was(n't) to the entire truth of the above statement ;P..

 

I guess I still believed in coincidences back then. Now scale it up to surpass the truly horrifying stuff we've already been witness to, here.
