Idk the roof of a warehouse is usually just sheet metal with light structural joists and kickers that would soften the impact. Given that the plane was close to landing, its conceivable that is could have just glided into the roof, the roof slowed its decent even more thefore preventing explosion of fuel or ordinances. hence no major fire.
