Amber Road: 1Q Earnings Snapshot

EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. (AP) _ Amber Road Inc. (AMBR) on Thursday reported a loss of $3.3 million in its first quarter.

 

The East Rutherford, New Jersey-based company said it had a loss of 12 cents per share. Losses, adjusted for stock option expense and non-recurring costs, came to 1 cent per share.

 

The software maker posted revenue of $21.1 million in the period.

 

For the current quarter ending in July, Amber Road expects its results to range from a loss of 6 cents per share to a loss of 4 cents per share.

 

The company said it expects revenue in the range of $21.3 million to $21.9 million for the fiscal second quarter.

 

Amber Road expects full-year results to range from a loss of 4 cents per share to earnings of 7 cents per share, with revenue ranging from $88.7 million to $91.7 million.

 

Amber Road shares have risen 16% since the beginning of the year. In the final minutes of trading on Thursday, shares hit $9.55, increasing slightly in the last 12 months.
