Another SoCal anon here. The weapons station has been there for a long, long time. There are also smaller offices for Boeing and Raytheon there.

No one here talks about it because it has never been an issue. What is in the water is a man-made barrier against ocean surges.

Could be, but no. Seal beach is known for flooding. Also, you would want to place barriers in the way to prevent attacks from foreigners.

In WWII CA had many, many mil bases and installations along the coast. There were instances of our guys blowing Japanese subs out of the water.

If you move up the coast in San Pedro you will find Fort MacArthur. Directly across the street from the main base is an area the Army dug out and placed two huge anti-aircraft canons or whatever.

CA has a lot of mil history, anon.

Yes, but not as much as before. After Reagan made the peace deal with Gorbachov, BC decided it was safe to reduce the number of bases. CA suffered some big loses. One that comes to mind is the Naval Base in Long Beach. I have to say that DiFi fought against that hard, but failed.

Maybe. There are marinas north along the coast that could be used. Redondo Beach, Marina del Rey are the two that come to mind now.

On as side note, Marina del Rey is chock full of muzzies. Makes me sick to see those assholes sitting around the coffee shops etc. I just know they're plotting something.

I agree it could happen, but I don't recall ever hearing anything about boat busts out of any marinas in the LA area.

Only about the Mexican boats that wash up filled with drugs.
