What will Cisco do with the new China tariffs?

My source says they're feeling the impact of the new trade tariffs on China- the company they work for is having a hard time dealing with Cisco telling them they're passing on the costs directly to the customer (them). This is not on an individual consumer level, this person is dealing with Cisco as a corporate vendor for something vital to their day-to-day operations.

I told my source to hang in there, that some companies are producing a knee-jerk reaction to the new EO and of course all the political jargon associated with it.

I said it wouldn't take much for Cisco to simply play ball, that they're going to end up losing customers and also look bad when they do, and to hold off on making decisions until this thing settles.

I said a bunch of things regarding the last 3 decades+ of China being in control and how companies tend to overreact to things like this when they rely on their connections suddenly get a reality check.

My source is going to have to rewrite contracts and quickly decide on possible changes in major parts of this particular aspect of their job.

I'd love to be able to inform them better- they're saying there's going to be a lot of work on their end to rewrite all these internal policies to adjust, and this is a sticking point as to why they think POTUS sucks.

I'm optimistic because I've seen all the buildup to this. This person has not.

I wish I knew more about this kind of thing.

What is going to happen here?

Do we think more companies, like Walmart and Cisco, are going to come out and say Fuck Trump, we're a stick in the mud and we're not going to play ball?

Or was I right to say 'hang in there' and wait for them to realize they can't just fuck customers over?

What do Anons think?
