The District Administrative Court of Kyiv opened proceedings in a suit on behalf of the National Police, the Security Service and the Administration of the State Border Guard Service to ban senior officials leaving Ukraine after the parliamentary and presidential elections. The court will consider the case in the order of simplified proceedings without notifying the participants of the case.
The plaintiff asks the court to admit the illegal inactivity of the National Police of Ukraine in not conducting all measures to ensure the protection of national security and non-counteraction to organized crime by persons holding political positions and who, according to the plaintiff, could commit corruption crimes. Also, the plaintiff asks to acknowledge the illegality and inactivity of the SBU as to the failure to take all measures to ensure the protection of national security against organized crime by these persons.
