Comey really didn't have a choice but to do what he did before the election - everyone….EVERYONE was certain that hillary was going to be the next president.

He did what he did out of self-preservation - to start with.

The big mistake and unforgivable thing was that once someone else (Trump) took over - he didn't come clean and continued to carry their water.

He could have redeemed himself but instead, he chose to act like an indignant drama queen.

He probably dislikes Trump personally - fine. You don't have to like the guy.

At that point though, you still gotta hand it over.

Continuing the treasonous charade because he was butthurt is what gets him sent to prison.
