It's an event that normies can understand and grasp. It's also something that could happen to them. Add to that the possibility of some rich fuck suing them just because they can to watch you go bankrupt trying to defend yourself.

The event that pulls the curtain on everything has to be one that all people can grasp the gravity of. It has to be understandable because the US Justice System as it stands now has to be blown up and rebuilt, with a military system for the interim and normies have to see the necessity of that, IMO.
